1918-10-07 0 Marie Constance Simon, Marie, was born in Wembley, London, England.
1918-11-02 0 James Frank MacDonald Bell, Frankie, was born at San Cristóbal, Santa Fé, Arg., the second child of James MacDonald Bell (Jim) and Bernice Wilhelmina Benitz.  Jim was a manager with the Santa Fe Land Co. (La Forestal).

1940-1945 22-27 Marie, during WW-II, became a WAAF officer and quartermaster on an RAF base near London.
1940-1945 22-27 Frankie, during WW-II, became a pilot, serving with the RCAF in Europe and India.  (For more details, please see his WW-II pages by clicking the button above.) 
1945-10-20 27 Frankie and Marie were married in London, England.  They had four children (no names, all living in 2017).
1945-1954 27-36 Frankie & Marie soon moved to Toronto.  After the war, Frankie continued his career as an officer in the RCAF, first in Toronto, then Ottawa (at the National Defense HQ).
1954-1958 36-40 Frankie was assigned to the NATO HQ in Paris.
1958-1962 40-44 Frankie & Marie returned to Canada.
1962-1965 44-46 Frankie held a diplomatic post with the Canadian delegation to the Disarmament Conference at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.  The family enjoyed the high-life.
ca.1965-11-01 46 Frankie retired from the RCAF, after 25 years of service, with the rank of xxxxxx, and took an executive position with deHavilland in Downview (nearToronto), Ontario.
1965-11-08 46 Frankie died suddenly, of a heart attack while at his desk.  He had undergone a medical exam that morning.  His ashes were buried at estancia "La California", Las Rosas, Santa Fé, Argentina.
1966-  47+ Marie and children moved about, living in Toronto, Ottawa, Jersey (Channel Islands), & Brighton (England) where she had a childhood friend.
?? - Marie remarried, to Allan Meacham Roberts. It was stormy relationship and it ended before he inherited his title.
1981 62 Though Marie did not like the Canadian climate, she returned to Toronto to be near her children & grandchildren.
2001-06-10 82 Marie died of a blood clot, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  Her ashes were spread on the waters of the Bay of Fundy.
