Willie’s Pen and Ink Drawings

Percy was an accomplished artist.  All the images on this page are in the possesion of J. A. O. Watt.

The drawings are shown in the order photographed (by J. S. Watt).  The photos were taken with a hand held camera, then edited to improve color and contrast.  The shadows and white bands are due to the lighting conditions at the time the photos were taken.  All drawings in rows 1 through 4, and drawings 51, 52, & 61 are from a sketchbook; all the other drawings are from individual glossy prints which were badly curled and difficult to flatten – most noticeable in drawings 62, 91, & 102.

Below each image are the titles, if any, included in the drawings.  Among the drawings included here, he signed only the last two.
