Bustos

Bustos was a surprise visitor who arrived out of the sky on a stormy afternoon at ‘El Piquete’. Needing a safe place to land his single-engine airplane, he chose the (then) unfenced entry road to ‘El Piquete’. It soon turned out he was a polo player, member of the polo club of La Paz, Entre Rios. Immediate friends, he invited us all to visit his estancia. Polo tournaments followed between La Paz & Los Laureles (the then name of the Las Rosas Polo Club). Note: Malcolm bought ‘La Isleta’ 2-3 years later.

We met to organize our next camping trip down south, planed for Jan.-Feb. 1966. We were Malcolm & Gertie Bz, Charlie & Rosie Livingston, Poro & Joyce Middleton - and offspring.
Puerto Aragon is on the Paraná river straight east of El Trebol, next to Monje, about 150 k. north of Rosario.
