This is the seventh diary that has survived the years, however it has suffered from damp. Most of this diary was written by John E. Bz. During his frequent absences, the diary was maintained by Mr. Paul (mayordomo), except for 2 days in March when Alfred maintained it, and a few days in October and December when both John and Mr. Paul were absent and an unknown other person made the entries.
